Lets Talk About Tests
We all know the acronyms (TDD, BDD, DIC, CI, etc), but sometimes I worry we lose sight of the meaning behind it all. It’s time to talk about testing patterns and paradigms by focusing first on the basics and working our way up from there. Why do we test? What do these acronyms mean and how many of them do we need? What is test fragility and why is 100% code coverage so hard to maintain? Are we even testing correctly? It’s time to find out.
