Sansa M240 Product Review: Great MP3 Player to the Buck I purchased this at Best Buy recently because that they had a sale on these. They may be normally $79 but went for $69. As always, someone always knows a place where one can understand cheaper, but it's not a negative deal because a) Best Buy was just about to happen and b) I had created a pre-balance credit card that managed to get much better to purchase. I watch free movies on Sansa at #link#, that must be i do. What we Get Storage: The Sansa m240 contains a 1GB drive for files. Honestly, most people do not require much in excess of this concerning playing music throughout the subway, running in the park, performing exercises, light housework, etc. movie review You avoid the use of a music player for over 2 hours at a time, and 1GB is sufficient undertake a decent a number of tunes. FM tuner: Great accessory! For those who wanna catch the neighborhood game while jogging or you're listening for your favorite radio station's contest, it is always good to experience a built-in FM tuner as an alternative to buying a different FM transmitter add-on. You will discover 6 slots intended for preset about the Sansa m240 to restore even easier to seek out stations. Voice recorder: pretty straightforward. Must record a long list of groceries? Voice recorder is awesome with the task. Arm strap and slip cover: The plastic slip cover was a little bit tricky in my situation, but once I first got it on, it looked like a great fit to the MP3 player. There was clearly convenient openings for all you important buttons (hold, menu/off, volume). It even included an opening for that mic to help you record muffle-free. Plus the Velcro arm strap had not been real problem, either. Slip it into your provided cover slot and pull too tight or you'll take off circulation. Size: The Sansa M40 is no more than 2 fingers wide as well as doesn't way very much. The screen is well adequate for you to navigate in and out of the menu. Downloading: You'll could do with the provided USB add-on, but for many people running Windows XP, downloading is a breeze. I'll end up in information later, but this MP3 player makes navigating through tunes very easy. Ear buds: The sound quality during these ear buds is ok. They did provide removable foam covers per but, but not rave about. Quality Features Navigation: What I really like relating to this player may be the navigating ability through songs. You may choose by album, artist, song title, year, genre, almost however you should do it. In case you have an excellent audio tagging program or tagging skills, this feature ups its value tenfold. Buttons: The buttons are fairly simple to operate about this player. The select button is raised up adequate to stay aside of all of the other buttons. Additionally there is a dedicated button with the repeat highlights of the M240. I am not sure when it needed a unique button, however, you can loop songs and segments of songs by navigating the repeat/ AB button. We would have preferred it to be an equalizer button. The hold switch is at the bottom of the ball player next to the mic port. The menu/off button is at the top; you need to hold it down for 5 seconds for a whole power-off. Volume control is on top, too, for easy access. Menu Features include the info menu to inform you just how much space you might have left/how many of every file type is loaded in the m40. There's even a nifty stopwatch menu for you joggers and runners. While using the settings menu you can adjust all kinds of things at this point to add the equalizer, power-off, and sleep modes. Lighting: Nowhere backlighting is ok. Make sure you adjust the setting than it to your decision while in the settings menu. It's defaulted to 5 seconds, which isn't near long enough for me. Downsides There aren't a great number of problems with this Sansa player that I'll think of. The audio quality isn't almost anything to boast about, yet it's suitable unless you are a serious audiophile. As a serious audiophile no doubt you've saved enough dough for your higher-end model anyway. It's like complaining that your particular Geo Metro isn't as quickly as your Dodge Viper. movies plot This player, in order to, is like a 2003 Accord using a V6: good bang with the buck and enough features to set it across the "standard" mark. I'm still doing research within the adaptability of plugging it into your car or truck speakers, but there don't seem to be way too many inexpensive choices for that. Something that I absolutely dislike would be the lack of ability to play songs from you if it is set up through USB. I needed another smaller player with that capability since it had a principal plug-in on the participant itself. Overall, this can be a very good player for that $60-$80 range. Epinions.com shows it selling between $52 and $102, with regards to the store and what hoops you should jump through.
