It maintains an employee training component which incorporates cultural perspectives and values differences and unique contributions which promotes learning from several orientations.
Unity Care was founded by André V. Chapman in 1993. Its first house opened in 1993 and was quickly followed by 2 more homes over the next three years. Unity Care seeks to provide affordable, safe, and stable housing options to youth transitioning out of foster care. Unity Care’s housing and programs are available to foster youth, age 16-21, at a transitional age as well as families.
