We start with a quick intro on the chatbot landscape. Then we look into Chatbot Anatomy and where AI is used in common practice. Then we turn into UX and identify three common challenges, in particular, providing i) Alternative Answers, ii) Informed 2nd Replies, and iii) Context-based Dialog, and look into how these can be solved with a generic framework. Finally, we conclude with introducing a “Practical Chatbot UX Design Pattern” for addressing these UX challenges in chatbots developed in Node.js.
