Sometimes imagination can be a scary place...

Agency

  • Gain insight from various clients (departments), and carry out proposals with little change

  • Operate more as "doers"--reactive, not proactive

  • Get more projects done

    • Less back and forth

  • Shorter term "investment"

In-house approach

  • Necessitates time for team to create
  • More proactive, less reactive
  • Can give a greater feeling of accomplishment
  • Ideation is great, but can come at a cost--work/life balance
  • Greater chance of disapproval--great loss of work and morale

The pros + cons of operating as a marketing agency
