High School Video Gaming League

Hosted By

"Road to the New Orleans Bowl"

The IGL Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to bring people together to learn, compete and play.

We leverage the popularity of the video game industry through hosting tournament fundraising events, which in turn, are able to provide our students with a FREE exciting Digital Arts curriculum that revolves around the core learning programs included in STEM: Science, Technology, Engineering, Math.

Over the years we have hosted dozens of STEM Programs and gaming events at local New Orleans schools.

These events showcase educational seminars, local businesses, animation and video workshops, gaming tournaments, and much more.

Our goal is to build a learning environment that is both fun and educational, while at the same time better preparing students to be a part of today’s technology-driven workforce economy.

Who are we?

The IGL Foundation is teaming up with High School Key Clubs throughout Louisiana and surrounding areas to host its first official Esports League.

The "Video Gaming for Charity" league is a group fundraising initiative coordinated by Key Clubs  to raise money.

The wining student will be awarded a $1,000 Scholarship Grand Prize and the winning school club will also be awarded a $1,000 Donation to their charity.

Both prizes will be presented during the New Orleans Bowl on Dec. 15th at the Superdome.

Mission

Tournament Series

The Madden Tournament series will be a series of FREE online and live tournaments twice-a-month from September through December; with the final Tournament held live in the Superdome on December 15th during the New Orleans Bowl.

The host of this years league will be ESPN's "Inside the Trenches" and High School Football Prep Weekly Host Marlon Favorite. Marlon will be bringing his style of special guest interviews, game play breakdown and play-by-play commentating to esports live on stream.

Viewership Streaming Analytics

Our goal this year is to get at least ten (10) students to register from all 1,500+ High Schools throughout Louisiana.

Although the league is open and free to all High School Students, we are currently focused on the 67 local New Orleans high schools for the initial set of student registrations.

Once those schools are setup, we will be reaching out to Baton Rouge, Shreveport, Hammond and other surrounding areas to register.

We believe that the first official league tournament should average at minimum anywhere from 100-500 viewers per show.

This is the first-of-it's-kind Free student gaming league!

With a $1,000 Scholarship Grand Prize, we anticipate a large amount of consistent web interaction and viewers on our custom partner platform, ww.EEZERS.com.

This high volume traffic is ideal for all types of advertising placements to be viewed both at the venue and on our live-streamed broadcast of each tournament.
