Testing - UI/UX + Quality Control Meetings

  • Testing website prior to going live (client testing/training) to ensure all functionality is working and looking as designed.
  • Routine meetings are going to be scheduled in to ensure all website functionality is continuing to function as sold.

Front-End &Development

BitBucket / Version Control (GIT)

Front-End has successfully moved over to BitBucket along with version control this is perfect for working with Developer's and team's out of house meaning files are easily tracked on the Radiator Repository online.

A benefit to this workflow means that more than one Front-End member can now work on a website and any given time. This improves problem solving within the team and majorly speed's up workflow.

This also means with any new Team member that joins the Development team a tracked history of each project is easy to follow on the account meaning the developer will understand the project more.

  • Market development Emerging Technology (Games/Animation)

Marketing

AMP - (Accelerated Mobile Pages)

Marketing

AMP - (Accelerated Mobile Pages)

AMP is a piece of technology marketing have been pushing for quite a while, though without the dedicated time spent from  the Development side this has unfortunately not been explored. This can be used as a USP for marketing it's use case is for mainly Blog through can be used for product pages.

This is a technology Development will be looking in to over the next few weeks and the findings can be delivered back to marketing on the process behind getting this up and running.

Marketing

Marketing involved in life cycle of Design + Development

A nice example of marketing a campaign was the macmic interactive Christmas campaign this was a nice exploration in to the further capability of SVG.

This kind of inspiration can be carried out across Radiator these ideas can be implemented for up coming events such as movie releases, special occasions,  calendar events.

Marketing + Development

Going forward with projects it is important that at each step (Design, Front-End, Development) the marketing department are aware of site structure and design and Front-End Mark-up choices that may effect the likes of page rankings (SEO).

Project meetings can be set up to allow all departments to know the what is going on with a project. this can be scheduled in prior to a Website being built on the Front-End.

Project Cycle

Server / Work in Progess Folder - Templates on BitBucket

Now that Front-End have moved away from the server and the work in progress folder in the up coming weeks as soon as PCR have sorted email to cloud stuff. A clean out of the server along with legacy files that are not required can be carried out to allow a fresh start meaning design files can be placed on work in progress and any Front-Dnd templates that are not on BitBucket can be moved over.
