  • Disrupting Dynamo: Action, Impact & Measure

Based on our previous task force presentation, this one aims to specify the next action we will take (and by when), the impact that we expect the action to have and how we will measure whether we’re successful.

  • Disrupting Dynamo: Planning and Expectations

This presentation aims to answer a couple of questions presented to our task force during Dynamo's 2016 Winter Retreat: How can we better plan out a project at the outset so that it is possible to measure success during the project and is ultimately more successful by the end and how can we better set, clarify and manage expectations so that we and the client are always on the same page.

  • Design Insights from AEA Chicago 2015

A sum up of eye-opening things and ideas that came out from design presentations during An Event Apart Chicago 2015.

  • Focusing on the USE(R)

A sum-up of cool, eye-opening stuff I learned at some of the tracks I attended at the 2014 NN/g Usability Week in Toronto.

  • The Browser’s Element Inspector as a Power Tool

A quick hands-on workshop about how to use the browser's element inspector as a power tool to sketch, test and preview front-end changes on a website. This presentation introduces efficient workflow practices and shows some things that not everyone is familiar with like simulating a mobile browser on your screen, changing and re-ordering content on the spot and even using the browser as a blank canvas to piece together a quick webpage prototype from scratch. I believe everyone at the office could be empowered by this, specially designers, back end devs and project managers.
