I often give talks about the ins and outs of publishing, but a lot of what I talk about is traditional. Journals. Journal Articles. Double-Anonymous Peer Review. The Standard. There are, however, lots of emerging alternatives to standard publishing workflow, format and platforms. This presentation is about thinking outside the box and introduces emerging trends in publishing.
Inspired by zine workshops run by Zoe Wake Hyde of Radish Press, this is a brief introduction to publishing for undergraduate students for the Arts Matters conference at UNB.
