Introduction
The global climate crisis emphasizes the need to streamline and refine global agriculture in every aspect. These improvements are economically sound and will help us maintain the quality of our products.
We intend to establish a joint venture between Gevasol and Metzer to provide potential customers with a 24/7 online monitoring and tracking system.
Metzer is well-known and respected within the global agricultural sector, offering unique products and irrigation capabilities in different water qualities.
These various irrigation capabilities allow for increased water supply for agricultural activities while lowering the costs of treatment and energy consumption required to use this water. The system advises (and manages) the consumption of agricultural crop inputs and the impact of crop activity on the environment in general.
The platform is based on precision activity in all areas related to plant growth. Once again, we emphasize that the goal is to ensure the supply of quality agricultural products while preserving the environment and the economic viability of the grower.
Metzer and Gevasol have the capabilities to develop a unique fertilization system that accurately monitors the amount of fertilizer required as well as a control system for the level of chemicals used in the required spray.
Metzer and Gevesol also have the capabilities to develop a system for collecting information from sensors and other sources, thus enabling field monitoring at any given moment, including the ability to produce reports for economic and environmental efficiency.
In addition, Metzer has developed dedicated automation that enables local, high-quality, economical production while significantly reducing logistics costs and reducing environmental pollution.
The move will include testing, understanding, and involving all factors in the product supply chain.

Cons:
-
Some at Metzer are skeptical about the feasibility, not on board with the move.
-
Similar products already exist.
-
There are "heavy" competitors: Netafim, Rivalis.
-
Everyone can.
-
Some companies have a partial product (Agam Agriculture, Alta, Suplant, Spherag).
-
At the end of the day, it's a data-collection-and-distribution system -- many parts of which already exist.
-
Unown financial investment.
-
There is no immediate profit to the farmer but a long-term cost reduction.
-
The grower's partners (supermarkets) will recognize the cost reduction and demand lower prices.
-
According to Aart, they are not ready for such a process; they only have products.
-
There is room for more players in this market.
-
The added value does not exist among competitors.
-
The combined technological knowledge of the two companies.
-
The farmer profits by savings costs in production (saving on sprays, fertilizer, water, etc.)
-
The competitors have not been able to implement in the market.
Pros:
General Discussion
-
What is it and who is the customer?
-
Particular areas of activity (irrigation, pest control, fertilization, water quality treatment, etc.)
-
Areas of monitoring and tracking (various sensors, the weather)
-
Division of labor between Metzer and Gabesol.
-
Collaboration with other companies.
-
Is it only in Metzer territories around the world?
Work Plan
-
Devise the schedule (up to six months to prepare a work plan).
-
Define needs and divide tasks between the two companies (who does what.)
-
The first stage -- collect feasibility data: Consult with stakeholders and understanders (from grower to the end customer).
-
Define areas of activity (seasonal crops, perennial crops, greenhouses).
-
Decide whether to buy or develop products (sensors, faucets).
General Comments
-
Consider the position of the logos (if it matters) and their ratio, 50/50 or other.
