- A line has length, but no breadth. It has one dimension, length.
- Connection between two points, or path of a moving point.
- Can be a positive mark or negative gap
- Exist in many weights
- Straight, curved, continuous or broken
- When a line reaches a certain thickness it becomes a plane.
