The Shopify charges are as per above. For the larger business requirement, we may need to choose an advanced package which is 399$ per month. Which is a high cost when forecasted for the long term. Also, we are restricted to using a set of provided plugins, components, and themes.
If the plan is to implement a mobile app in the future, a Shopify-based website will cause the uniformity of the mobile app and web platform. Since we chose the theme for a custom website, it can be aligned easily with the mobile app theme.
