THE CHALLENGE
Today’s visitors expect more than static exhibits.
-
According to Blooloop, 67% of Gen Z and Millennial visitors say interactive experiences are more memorable than passive ones.
-
Studies show that guests engage up to 6x longer with immersive exhibits.
-
Return visits are low: the AZA reports that the average zoo visitor only returns once every 2.8 years.
-
Families are craving experiences that combine education, entertainment, and agency.

THE OPPORTUNITY
We can redefine what a day at the zoo looks like.
-
Create a layered experience that adds interaction and exploration on top of traditional exhibits.
-
Tap into the trend of gamified family outings (e.g., Disney’s MagicBand+, Universal’s Mario Band).
-
Offer a reason to visit again, and again — with evolving quests and unlockables.
-
Introduce a new revenue stream through upgraded ticketing and merchandise.

An interactive adventure that turns your zoo visit into a game.
-
ZooM Quest is an RFID-based experience layered over your zoo visit.
-
It begins with purchasing a ZooM Band (slap bracelet with RFID) at the gift shop.
-
Each guest activates their band in the free ZooM App and begins their first Quest.
-
Families explore the park, scanning checkpoints, finding clues, and unlocking rewards.
-
Every Quest completed earns a digital badge, physical collectible coin, or in-app reward.
