Curb Cuts

VoiceOver

Screen reader built into Mac OS X.

VoiceOver Task

  1. Open a browser and navigate to https://ischool.uw.edu/
  2. Turn on VoiceOver (plug in your headphones!)
  3. Close your eyes / hide the browser / etc.
  4. Using the screen reader, navigate to the "Programs" (hit "enter") then "Informatics Major and Minor" information page (listen through the links!)
    - Don't get caught in the video on the next page!
  5. Use the Web Roto links menu to navigate to the "Academics" page and then again to "Special Topics and New Courses" page
  6. Use the Web Roto headings menu to figure out what INFO courses were taught in Autumn 2019 (listen for the the second-level heading for that term)
