Holopolis

WHAT is it about

HOlopolis

make vtaiwan more fun

Taiwan has been experimenting with bringing citizens and government together in a civic deliberation process for crafting digital legislation. Our process, vTaiwan, brings people directly into governance and helps lawmakers implement decisions with a greater degree of legitimacy. We see our project as an adaptable and reproducible prototype for future democracy.

WHat is vtaiwan?

Participants: everyone
When: every Wednesday
Where: Hackpad, and Social Innovation Lab
and anytime online (Slack #vtaiwan, Facebook group: @vtaiwan, url: vtw.link)
What: chat, eat pizza, discuss about issues (eg. social enterprise law, data exchange between government ministries, non-consensual intimate images, etc)

Holopolis bot

Holopolis bot allows always available participation. It packages vTaiwan as a contact you can add friend with and share your opinions on cases under discussion.

Holopolis MR

Holopolis MR imagines the uses case in the near future, when MR headsets are more popularized. It turns on the GPS with computer vision feature so that the users can bump into virtual public forums such as a forum setup next to the priority seats.

HOLOPOLIS HIFI

Imagine a virtual commons where all minds have access to. There, all minds contribute to a collective pool of wisdom that records how the society prefers.

We set up a virtual environment on High Fidelity server, for volunteers to started jamming within.
