By: Matthew Getch, Valerie Schweigert, Chazz Noble, and Jake Smith

Jaunt randomly creates a trip based on your budget and location

It can be completely random, or interests can be tagged to give your trip a slant

The heart of Jaunt is the social experience, not the trip itself

Limitations

Planning optimal trips through a computer is impossible

Randomized Trips have inherent negative qualities but, the social aspect of Jaunt negates these qualities.

Technobabble

  • Github: Let's us work on code remotely at the same time
  • Open Source: Freely licensed foundation code
  • Dreamspark: Microsoft Initiative to teach college programmers
  • Django: Website development platform for Python
  • Python: Programming Language
  • Randomized: Procedurally constructed, using some crafted "randomness"
