Memory Span
A list of random numbers or letters will be presented on a computer screen at the rate of one per second. The test begins with two to three numbers, increasing until the person commits errors. The score of this test will serve as an indication of memory span.

Selected a randomisation method; to give subjects three cards to put in a random order (each card was labelled either music with lyrics, music without lyrics or no music) to randomly decide the order they will take the tests in.
Asked subjects to play Stroop test and memory span game three times: once with music with lyrics; once with a music without lyrics; and once with no music at all.
