You have always been a source of inspiration, a mentor and a guide to the team at CDAC Noida. Your association with the team has been a long and very fruitful one. We are privileged to have worked under your guidance on various important projects including SCOSTA PKI, Secure OS development for Indian Navy and development of a secure USB Dongle based on ECC, just to name a few. The teacher in you has always been there to guide the team despite your very busy schedule and you have always been just a phone call away. Thank You for all your encouragement and support.

IIT Gandhinagar is lucky and blessed to have you as the Director and I am sure it will flourish under your able leadership and grow by leaps and bounds. I wish you many wonderful achievements in your new role and look forward to our continued association.

IIT Gandhinagar is now in teen-age and like all adolescents has unbounded energy ready to fly. At this juncture it is so good that Professor Rajat Moona is taking over the stewardship of this place. Rajat brings with him a background of 'Academic Rigor' gained at IITK which has been recently deepened with his experience as Founding Director of IIT Bhilai. The Supercomputing and social computing experience of Professor Moona is exceptional and would be an added asset.

For IITGN now the hope is that the vibrancy induced by the Founding Director, Professor Sudhir Jain, would continue with greater zeal and the place will reach greater heights.

As members of a larger IITGN community we (Raka and I) cordially welcome Professor Rajat Moona and his family on the campus.
