Omar Acosta

-"Omar is an accomplished artist, with wide perspective and extraordinary vision...

Pedro Eustache. Hans Zimmer's multi-instrumentalist wind player

- "With whom I would have taken my hat off if I had worn it, it would have been with the group of Omar Acosta, a Venezuelan who was the superlative of this XXI Sabandeño Festival."

Evaristo Fuentes. Tenerife Norte Journal

"It is such an imaginative and beautiful music."

Maestro William Bennett. Royal Academy of Music (Londres)

- "(...) The Venezuelan and Spanish musician, who is not afraid of any challenge, does not shy away from approaching music from other latitudes (Africa, Asia, ...) or immersing himself in jazz or flamenco. We are, without doubt, before a musician as brave as universal, as simple as warm and as bold as sure."

José-Miguel Villa. Diario Crítico (Spain)

-"The classical authors left the performers to create their own "cadenzas" in the concerts so that they could show their technique and virtuosity. This was what recalled the flutist Omar Acosta, who developed marvelously high quality variations and virtuosity based on harmony and the difficult compass of the siguiriyas, and only accompanied by the percussion."

Ramón Rodó Selles. La Vanguardia Journal (Spain). Barcelona International Jazz Festival
