- Originally a volunteer-led campaign, but now funded by Research England until 2030
- A biannual competition to celebrate non-traditional outputs (i.e. things other than publications)
- A biannual Festival to bring together the research community
- Supported by ~30 organisations from the Technician Commitment to the Royal Society of Chemistry
- Collecting evidence and informing national and university policymakers on how to recognise everything and everyone needed for research
