The Spirit of Ras Al Khaimah Awakens
Inspired by mythology and legends, here we have created our own...
Whispers of a guardian, dormant beneath the rugged peaks of Jebel Jais. There is a creature protecting Ras Al Khaimah that contains a great power.
But tonight, something stirs. As midnight nears on Al Marjan Island, anticipation simmers. The clock counts down. The earth trembles. Then, in a blaze of fire and light, the fabric of time tears open.
From the ashes, it rises. A Phoenix—the spirit of Ras Al Khaimah—soars into the night sky, its flaming wings a symbol of strength, renewal, and abundance
It journeys 2 kilometers across the bay, its fiery wingtips casting light and blessings over all below.
In a breathtaking moment, the Phoenix dives into the water and vanishes. From the depths, a human form rises, reborn from its spirit, representing the people of RAK who all contain this power.
Light beams spread across the bay, casting the spirit’s energy upon all who witness its transformation. A blessing for the New Year ahead.

WHY GLOBAL ICONS?
PROPERTY & URBANISATION
Iconic structures have become hotspots for tourists with people visiting destinations solely to experience these iconic structures and/or entertainment hubs.
Over time, icons become culturally significant landmarks, acting as symbols for the country and/or city. They become a point of pride, emblematic of the culture, stories, and history of a region, furthering its appeal.
Icons provide an important focus of attention and therefore create opportunities for deeper engagement with visitors. Seasonal events, nightly entertainment or community engagement can all play vital roles in driving tourism and therefore boosting local jobs and the economy.
The introduction of artistically and culturally driven structures and public artworks raises the profile of the local area which ultimately encourages further investment in urbanisation and property development.
Nature's Gateway
CREATIVE CONCEPT
Nature’s Gateway is an elegant and sculptural kinetic monument inspired by the biodiversity of the region.
It features organic forms that bloom from day to night, viewing platforms accessible from the water and built-in lighting and drone technology to enable spectacular ‘show’ moments the will wow visitors.
This iconic structure is a celebration of Ras Al-Khaimah that will drive conversation and build recognition the region around the globe.
