•  Johnson is a guard with good size, length and athleticism. His quickness allows him to be a very good one-on-one player and to be efficient on the pick-and-roll.
•  Even though he plays a lot off the ball for UMBC, he has a versatile game that allows him to be also a very efficient scorer off the dribble. He can get to the basket and score with his jump shot.
 •  He’s an athletic defender that can sprint around and put a lot of pressure on the ball, he gets steals and has quick feet.

•  Johnson still lacks a bit of strength to his frame, and that’s evident more on the defensive end than on the offensive one. Add more muscles will allow him to absorb contacts better.

•  He does a good job sharing the ball on offense but he has margin to further improve his passing game and his ability to operate on the pick-and-roll.

Johnson has very high upside thanks to his mix of size, length, athleticism, shooting skills, scoring touch, pick-and-roll efficiency, ability to move the ball, and defensive potential. His quickness with the ball, ability to shoot off the catch and of the dribble and pick-and-roll plays fit perfectly the International game.
