Moni is a player with incredible versatility on offense. During the 2023-24 season, while he was a very good scorer in Post Up situations (1.068 PPP, 84th percentile), most of his possessions on offense came in Spot Up situations: he was able to take advantage of his fantastic shooting and dribbling abilities, scoring 1.172 Points Per Possession and ranking in the 88th percentile in NCAA Division 2.

Moni has incredible ball-handling and passing skills for his size, and those were properly highlighted during the 2023-24 season: he played 13.1% of his possessions on offense as a P&R Ball Handler, a unique situation for a player his size, and he scored a fantastic 1.067 Points Per Possession, a very high number that ranked in the 90th percentile in the entire NCAA Division 2.

Moni is an exceptional passer for his position, he has great vision, timing and touch. During the 2023-24 season he averaged 3.6 assists per game, but what was even more impressive was his Assist/Turnover Ratio of 1.6, one of the highest in NCAA Division 2 for a frontcourt player.

•  Moni is a power forward with excellent size, length and mobility. He’s quick for his size and able to play either inside or on the perimeter.

•  He has fantastic hands to pass and score. His soft touch from anywhere on the court makes him always a scoring threat. He can shoot and handle the ball like a guard.
 •  He has great mobility and footwork on defense, he moves quickly for a player his size and length and he has potential to be a defender with incredible versatility.

•  Moni needs to work on improving his ability to score at the rim and to finish through contacts, as right now he’s only scoring 1.11 points per possessions on attempts at the rim.

•  He has to improve his physicality and ability to absorb contacts and play against stronger players also on the defensive end.

Moni has very high upside thanks to his mix of size, length, mobility, quickness, footwork, ball-handling skills, touch, shooting ability, inside/out game, vision, passing skills, and defensive potential. His size, basketball IQ and scoring versatility perfectly fit the international game. 

There isn't an easy road to success. There are no shortcuts. Each player must find his way with putting in work in the gym, dedication, passion, determination and the right choices.
