Doucet is a great shooter from anywhere on the court: during the 2023-24 season he was able to keep a high efficiency even shooting a lot for his team (29.4% of Winthrop’s shots), scoring 1.02 Points Per Shot with his Jump Shot, a very high value that positioned him in the 72nd percentile in the entire NCAA Division 1.

Doucet is a strong player and a physical competitor, someone who is never afraid of contacts and uses very well his body to score around the rim and draw fouls. During the 2023-24 he had 5.2 Fouls Drawn Per 40 Minutes, a very good number that put him in the Top 150 among all NCAA Division 1 players.

•  Doucet is a power forward with great strength and toughness. He has fantastic footwork and can move his feet playing inside the paint or on the perimeter.
•  He’s an exceptional shooter who can shoot from anywhere on the court, he has great mechanics and release, and is a threat from very deep range.
 •  He embraces contacts in his game and competes hard inside the paint, he scores absorbing contacts and uses his strong body to push defenders.

•  Doucet must work on improving his post skills and play more in the low post, where he has an advantage thanks to his strong body and quick feet.

•  He needs to focus more on rebounding under the offensive glass, sometimes he stops on the perimeter and in general he doesn’t get a lot of extra-possessions.

Doucet has very high upside thanks to his mix of strength, footwork, toughness, scoring touch, basketball IQ, shooting skills, ball-handling, post-up game, and defensive potential. His quick feet, scoring versatility and soft touch fit perfectly the international game.
