Pruitt plays a lot off the ball for Lipscomb now, but his future as a point guard in International basketball is exciting thanks to his efficiency on the pick-and-roll: in his possessions as a P&R Ball Handler during the 2023-24 season, he scored 1.047 Points Per Possession, an incredible number that positioned him in the 91st percentile in the entire NCAA Division 1.

Pruitt can score in different ways and not only with his jump shot. One thing he does extremely well is to get to the free throw line: his Free Throw Rate of 44.1% during the 2023-24 season was good to rank 254th among all NCAA Division 1 players, a remarkable achievement.

•  Pruitt is a point guard with good size and who is able to play at different pace. He can also play off the ball and is a great cutter.
•  He has a high basketball IQ and is able to play under pressure. He’s a fantastic passer with great timing and vision. He’s also an excellent pick-and-roll player.
 •  He’s an exceptional shooter who can shoot off the catch or off the dribble and has very deep range. He has also very good touch attacking the basket.

Pruitt has very high upside thanks to his mix of size, ability to play at different speed, basketball IQ, passing skills, ability to take care of the ball, shooting ability, scoring touch, pick-and-roll efficiency, and defensive potential. His poise with the ball, shooting and pick-and-roll plays fit perfectly the International game. 

There isn't an easy road to success. There are no shortcuts. Each player must find his way with putting in work in the gym, dedication, passion, determination and the right choices.

The short-term goal for Pruitt must be to get a start at a good level of competition in a team that trusts him with point guard duties and at the same time values his scoring skills. With more experience and thanks to his skills and basketball IQ he’ll be able to move up quickly.

Long-term he’ll have the chance to move up the ladder and play in any major league, with the goal being EuroLeague.
