How to  get  started?

• or whatever the organisation requires

Willingness to Code

--No Exam, No Pointer, No prior Work Experience

• Choose an organisation
• Choose a project
• Contact  the mentor
• Work as per his advice
• Research more
• Get Selected :D

Plan of Action

• Research as much as you can about the project
• Make Prior GSOC Contributions
• Create a good Proposal
• Contact mentor, get his suggestions about your proposals
• Research more, fix more bugs...and get selected
• Celebrate with OSDC guys

Proposal

• Proposal is your description about how you will aproach problem statement
• Best proposal's are the one with good community feedback.
• Mantra: Start Early....Take Advice

Tools to use

• Learn GIT, get your account over Github and other version control provide (if organisation uses)
• Get familiar with IRC Commands.
• Any Language you like ... you even can learn a new language for gsoc project :)
