Choose one of the following songs, listen to all the versions you can find,

note what you find interesting, research the background of the piece,

analyse using your preferred/appropriate method of choice, write up a short reading summary of:

Subject:            
Synopsis / Quick plot summary of the song within show.

Background:  Practitioners Involved, Historical Reference, and further works.

Colour:              Cultural Impact, Socio-political, inherent, reference.

Frame:               Analysis / Reasons why created, what did it achieve, success and resonance.

~500 Words.

Tips on what you are to do:
Outlining is your friend.  Copy into your book/word processor and work from what you instinctively know, don't copy other people's work initially, ask yourself the questions.  Keep your momentum high!

Try the pomodoro technique if you suffer from low productivity.  20 mins of pure distraction-free setting.

You have two hours to write solid, interesting words with a singular focus.
