Flower Critique

Critique

This painting was really difficult. There were so many layers to put in and different texture to put in. I put on a light wash of the yellow to kind of get the basic color down. Then, I added in some random orange splotches to kind of get the hues of orange the actual flower had. Then i went back and put some more yellow and also used some water to kind of spread the orange. I used salt and a stamp in my background. I also used plastic wrap in the center of the flower to kind of give it a rough texture.
