What dose representation mean?

The word representation is an action that is repeating the words or actions that someone has already said or written. There will be lots of different types of representations that you may see in music videos such as: Rock, Indi, EDM, Rap and pop.

Rock:

In a Rock music video you may expect to see guitars, bands and drums and you may expect the video to have a darker look to it.

Pop:

In a pop music video you may expect to see a lot of bright colours along with perhaps animals, fast cars and models.

EDM:

In an EDM (electro dance music) music video you may expect to see a lot of bright lights, strobes and smoke. This will also be put together with DJ's sets and people dancing.

Rap:

In a Rap music video the main representations would be having gangs, women, tracksuits and jewellery.
