Consultation occurs with Program Management, validating that all risk management assessments have been undertaken in relation to any new support delivery, of a service user as identified in their Individual Service Plan.

Copies of all documentation of Risk Assessments undertaken, for the support delivery of a service user as identified in their Individual Service Plan, is received by them from the Service Development Manager; and /or Program Manager/s.

TEAM LEADER / HOUSE LIAISON RESPONSIBILITIES

Support staff, are fully informed of any new risk management strategies to be put in place e.g. (supplied a copy of the Risk Management Plan; advised support workers of their responsibility for feedback requirements to management to ensure strategies are working, for ongoing monitoring and ongoing reviewing by Program Management.

TEAM LEADER / HOUSE LIAISON RESPONSIBILITIES

Any new risk / hazard identified either for the service user, or any staff member, or in relation to an activity that the service user, or staff member is associated with, that risk management policy and procedures are followed, and brought to the notice of management. (5 Step process). CLS approved Risk Management forms to be used.

They consult with the service Workplace Health and Safety Officer/s as required.

They have met the requirements as outlined in their employment contract, before commencing support delivery with a service user.


They have received adequate training for the support delivery required and (signed off and dated their Staff Orientation Manual as validation).
