Best Format Linking

In order to optimize the experience for ACS researchers, we provide them with more direct access to research at an institution that has subscription access.

Best Format Linking

When a researcher accesses the title link for a research article, and they are at institution with subscription access, they will link directly to the full text version of the article.

Best Format Linking

If a researcher accesses an article title that is open access (tagged as ACS Editors' Choice or ACS AuthorChoice), they will also link to the full text version. It will not count as institutional access.

Best Format Linking

If a researcher needs to preview an article abstract without viewing the full text, they can select "abstract" on the article listing.

Best Format Linking

This will bring them to the abstract page of the article, allowing them to preview it before deciding to access the full text.
