When you mention the name Halvorsen, you'll realize its fame in the marine engineering industry. It has established its roots in the boat building industry for over thirteen decades. The company's name is known for crafting high-quality and stylish pleasure boats, commercial boats, and has taken championships through their racing boats.

Besides these achievements, it played a role in building boats for the armies of Australia, Netherlands, America. Their vessels played a big part in world war II. A fleet of 200 hire boats was one of their praised family construction because it was the biggest single family-owned fleet around the world.

The pride of boat building by the Halvorsen does not stop in the past. They still are trendsetters in the boat business. Mark Halvorsen for instance imports and restores vintage Halvorsen boats and sells them in the city of Sydney, Australia. He also designs and builds boats in China. Athol Halvorsen says that even though the successful cruisers of the Halvorsen wooden boats from the past retired in 2003, there is still an active Halvorsen club that includes Halvorsen built wooden boats, which cherishes these unique vessels. Given the integrity and quality of these beautiful boats, many people love and seek after them. The Halvorsen story still lives and will remain here for many years to come.
