Cisco Certified Network Associate, the first step in Cisco career certification, is a junior Cisco certification. Passing the CCNA certification signifies that a technician has the ability to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot medium-sized routed and switched networks. Professionals who earn the CCNA certification have the knowledge and skills to establish connections to remote sites over a WAN, eliminate basic security threats, and understand the requirements for wireless network access. CCNA is one of those vendor certifications that network engineers work, learn, and test to earn.
The Cisco certification exam focuses on the Cisco Interconnection of Network Devices (ICND). In the new version of the certification system, CCNA does not subdivide the certification direction. CCNA all the original direction (in addition to Cyber Ops) had combined and unified only one exam CCNA 200-301. Candidates have only one exam to pass and the CCNA certification is valid for three years.
We understand the topic of CCNA Network Engineer from another perspective, as the most elementary and basic Cisco certification, from the point of view of job hunting, CCNA doesn't have much value in the industry. On the one hand, because of its low examination difficulty, relying mainly on the study of the question bank, on the other hand, on top of it there are higher CCNP and CCIE, especially as an expert level CCIE, which is more favored by enterprises. So if you want to get a high salary position just by getting a Cisco junior certification, it is obviously impossible, CCNA does not become a good career knocker.
