Some terms to know

• LTL (Less than Truckload): Trucks carry package for multiple customers
• P&D: Pick-up and Delivery
• PUP: 28 foot trailer
• 53-foot trailer: A trailer this size can fit up to 30 pallets (48"x 40") depending on configuration.
• Manifest: Document that lists cargo content or people traveling within a vessel of transportation
• Weigh Stations: Located along highways to weigh trucks and inspect for safety. Trucks MUST STOP at these locations
• Satellite Terminal: Small Terminal that services specific area (Williamsport) 
• Cut-Time: A schedule for truck deliveries
• OTR (Over the Road)
