Our Conservation Pond

- Over 20 years old (constructed in 1992)
- Performs filtration function for farm run-off
- Currently has a broken pipe that helps maintain water level.

- Dr. Andrew Miller, a specialist on urban watersheds
- Steve Darcy, conservation engineer with the Prince George's Soil Conservation District
Field Exercises
- Water Testing for dissolved oxygen, turbidity and Ph levels
- Plant identification and density
- Capstone project
- building floating wetlands
