The Dialogue Experience
DIALOGUES aim to contrast ordinary conversations, in following ways:
GOALS: People intentionally come together to gain understanding of views that are different from their own.
PROCESS: The communication will be more structured than usual,
in order to support going beyond divisions.
VALUES: The interaction is a two-way process
that carefully balances Active Listening and Intentional Speaking.
AGREEMENTS: Participants jointly create
communication norms that foster a constructive exchange.
ATMOSPHERE: The conversation is shaped by respect in which
sincere questions are asked and mutual learning can occur.
"Dialogue cannot exist
without humility."
