PROJECT

A Laravel application which allows anyone to very simply and spontaneously organize outings during conferences, or to join outings created by others.

Conferences like Laracon. :)

Fun shouldn't stop at the end of the conference day.​

Conferences are as much about community and networking as they are about learning and sharing.

This should NEVER, EVER HAPPEN.

Using their Twitter accounts, participants can log into the application and create or join an outing.

Outing venues are selected through the Yelp API, which is limited to a certain radius of the conference.

Each outing thus created has a twitter button which allows to promote it, using the conference's hashtag (ie. #laracon), and a reminder is sent by the application to all participants 30 minutes before the outing.

Any member of Laravel Montreal with the will to contribute to an awesome Laravel open-source project is welcome to join the core development team. :)
