Why build this project?

• We should celebrate the launch of Drupal 9
• We need to be as inclusive as possible
• We have this global community, let's get together
• We will have future things to celebrate
• We need a platform for this

Current State: Design

• Decided on Figma because wanted it to be open for all
• Wanted to learn design

Current State: Development

Github: drupal-celebrations/celebrate-drupal-9

• Ensure everything is open-source and available to all
• Wanted to start with Drupal 9
• Aim to stick to core modules, some contrib and a few small custom modules
• Custom theme with minimal stable9 base theme
• Wanted to learn and use TailwindCSS
