Using the EJC model with Inkscape

Inkscape is a Free software for vectorial edition, an alternative to Adobe Illustrator. It works on Windows, Mac or Linux, and can be downloaded here:

Some objects, like the mRNA, are made of lines with high tickness.

But the majority of objects are made from a combination of simple shapes

The EJC is divided into two parts to create the effect that it's surrounding the mRNA

Use the toolbar to change the order of appearance, and set one half of EJC behind the mRNA

Use the Fill & Stroke menu to change the color and outline of objects
