History

Judaism started on Mt. Sinai around 1500 B.C. Moses started the religion after he had written the Torah. (The first 5 books of the Bible)

The Prophet

Moses

Moses is considered one of the main prophets as well as the founder of Judaism. As the story goes, after he lead the Jews out of Egypt, they went to Mt. Sinai where Moses got the 10 Commandments. 

The Future Prophet

Judaism tells of an unknown prophet who is to come in the future to save the Jews from the world.

Core Beliefs

Beliefs

The followers of Judaism read a book called the Torah, which is where a lot of their core beliefs come from.  They also have the ten commandments.

Beliefs

Here are a few of their core beliefs:

  • One God (One of the first people to introduce monotheism.)
  • God will reward the good and punish the evil
  • The Messiah will come
  • The dead will be resurrected.
