The Successful Mentoring Process by Erica Villalon

Mentorship like any other profession and art has its own rules and channels of operation. To get into a mentorship program is possible to do in two ways: deliberately or naturally. We can subdivide it into smaller segments like closed, open, formal, informal, private, and public. A deliberate mentorship program goes through arrangements and even payment exchanges hands.

On the natural side of things you get involved with someone on a friendship basis and get to learn what they have to offer. We get it from all manner of people with the common ones being parents, teachers, friends, family, among others. So, almost all of us have gone through mentorship lessons throughout our lives. Erica Villalon on the methods of Forex trading - YouTube tells all about her programs as a mentor.

In every mentorship program, the mentor and the mentee need to know that they are in this relationship for the sake of effectiveness. There is a risk especially in the natural mentorship relation that people assume a lot. Since there is no official documentation, someone just puts it in their mind that the other is their mentor or mentee.

In the process, the mentor might not give all they have, which would have been useful to the mentee, if they were straightforward from the beginning.

In a deliberate mentorship relationship, there are formal meetings, common interests, interviews, personal profiles, timetables among other important information that can help the both of you understand and get to learn from each other. A successful mentorship is where the mentee finds knowledge, inspiration, skills, development, and understanding where they stand in society and where they need to be. Therefore, there is a need for an investigation, identification, and planning to come up with a process that meets the needs of both of you.
