What is Superstition?

A belief that is not based on human reasoning or scientific knowledge, but is connected with old ideas about magic, etc.

How it started?

  • People's belief in early age's.
  • Fear about unseen.
  • Less knowledge about things.
  • Easily convinced.
  • Lack of general awareness.
  • No logic.
  • Proofs on the basis of events.

Bad luck Superstitions

  • If a black cat crosses your path you will have bad luck.

  • It's bad luck to trim your finger or toenails after dark.

  • Tuesday the 13th is unlucky in Greece.

  • Sitting at the corner of the table is bad luck in Russia.

  • It's bad luck to shake your legs in South Korea.

  • Lighting a cigarette from a candle is bad luck in Europe.

Good luck Horseshoe

Hanging a horseshoe in the bedroom or on a door knob with its ends pointing upwards will bring good luck and keep nightmares away!
