'Traditional' Marketing

Although our primary marketing focus was online & via social media, we also plan to make the most of traditional marketing tactics.

Though they cost slightly more, advertising campaigns...

-on billboards                                  -in newspapers 

-on public transport                       -via trailers/TV spots

...are widely-used and proven to be effective, as they provide the audience with a constant reminder of the film & its information

Marketing via radio

Radio is another potential strategy which could be used to market 'Follow'. Using the platform of radio, we could...

-Advertise the film via a radio advert in-between songs. This would provide a description of the film's genre & plot and possibly include critical reception to appeal to the audience.

-Use a radio interview to market the film. We could discuss filming, the storyline and also when it is released for public exhibition.

Radio is also a useful platform, as we could tailor marketing towards a particular station - for instance a large-scale station such as Radio 1, or a more niche/genre-based station like Radio X.
