1.) Update the Repository with:
sudo pisi ur
Install the XFCE Desktop with the command
sudo pisi it -c desktop.xfce
Now can you logout and switch the session to xfce as you see on the next Image
When you remove KDE pisi remove kdm too, and your Pisi Linux 1.2 has no Display-Manager
Install lxdm as Display-Manager
sudo pisi it lxdm
Before you can go further with the installation, you must confirm the conflicts between kdm and lxdm.
You can do it, type for it y for yes
After lxdm is install, you must reboot your System, close the Terminal and reboot now
After the reboot switch your Session from default to xfce so as you see on the Screenshot
When you are back on the xfce Session you can now remove KDE, you can do it with:
sudo pisi rm -c desktop.kde
Note: This Step remove complete all include( Panda, Kaptan, ksplash and much more)
You can remove a bit of KDE when you type:
sudo pisi rm kde-workspace kde-runtime kde-baseapps
This Step is a little saver and you have after a reboot your Pisi Linux Splash screen it was not delete
( What you are doing now it is your turn )
After the removing from KDE make again a reboot
Now when you have reboot and you are back on lxdm you see when open at the bottom where you see Desktop that only xfce session is there.
Now login on the xfce Desktop and open a System Monitor you see you have a lot lower RAM as before
