Who are we?
IGL Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based out of New Orleans, Louisiana, whose mission is to bring people together to learn, compete, and play. We provide educational opportunities for students in areas of Technology, Gaming, and Digital Arts that are not only enriching but also entertaining. As a non-profit organization, we raise money by running events and tournaments to provide affordable STEAM/Digital Arts education programs for students year-round.
Throughout the year, we produce several events of varying size and scope in Louisiana and surrounding regions. By producing programs, seminars, conventions and workshops that are both fun and educational, our goal is to better prepare students and their communities to be a part of today’s technology-driven workforce.
IGL's High School Esports League is a competitive video gaming league created specifically for high school students. Gamers will have the opportunity to compete against students from their school as well as from other local schools in their area. At the end of each season, scholarships are awarded to the top competitors.
Similar to your "traditional" school sports, the High School Esports League provides students with a competitive, yet fun environment. This league also gives students a great team building experience for those that are participating and spectating.

Tournament Fundraisers
In hosting different gaming tournaments, your organization will be able to tap into many forms of advertising. These sources of revenue can include ads, sponsors, and commercials. IGL has the ability to stream all events. Gaming events such as these generate significant traffic online. Based on expected viewership, your organization will be able to sell ad space as well as collect online donations throughout each broadcast.
Free weekend tournaments such as these have the ability to bring many people to a venue for up to 3 hours or more. Food is a great source of fundraising throughout the event. This can be done in-house or by vendors, whichever works best for the facility. Also, vendor tables are a great way to interact with attendees. Companies that develop or sell video games are always looking for people to test their games, and have the potential to become a great repeat vendor.
