TEI Customisation

TEI provides limited support for music: 

• The <musicNotation> for manuscript descriptions documenting the type of musical notation
• Embedding the music as a <figure> with <figDesc> and <graphic>, or if you are really weird <binaryObject>
• Using <notatedMusic> to wrap a description, pointer, and/or graphic of the music at that point
• Those transcribing spoken texts can use <vocal> and <incident> for sounds interrupting a conversation
• Metadata for recordings is available with <recordingStmt>, <recording>, <broadcast>, and <media>
