Using a Visual Aid
Visual Aids are there to
- Support your speech content
- Enhance audience's understanding
- Assist you in remembering your content
Visual aids are there to...
AID you
They are not your whole speech. You should not be reading off of your visual aid.
You should be looking at your audience and referring to what is on your visual aid from time to time
Font
Choosing an appropriate font style and size is imperative!
If you use a text color that is too similar to your background, we won't see it.
If your text is too small, not everyone will be able to read it
Depending on the format you use, you can choose crazy fonts, those font are probably not a good idea.
Choosing an appropriate background is also a must.
If it is hard to read the font on your background, you need to change it.

You can use images!
When you use images, use them wisely.
All images must help the audience further understand the topic you are explaining.

Using too many pictures makes it a little crazy...

Having too much white space is also a bad thing...
There should be something else on this page.
Rules for your visual aid
