Start by acquiring Knowledge

Skin in the Game = Have something to put, put something on the line
Look at your where you spend you money, and where you spend your time.
The results won't surprise you

If we start from a place of agreement, we increase the change that the strength of our argument, accuracy of our logic and weight of evidence will be received at all
3.
The key to changing someone's belief is finding a shared belief or motive that will keep them open to your POV
Disagree less, Understand more
The Self
You do not get to choose what you believe. Fundamentals beliefs about yourself, the ones you hold for others and the word, you've 'chosen' none of them
3.
There are 4 piece of evidence that will change a person's existing belief:
1. A person's current evidence
2. The confidence in the current evidence
3. The new evidence
4. The confidence in that new evidence
Hence,
Confidence in the new evidence > Confidence in the old evidence
The Self
Asking someone to explain in detail and logic underpinning their strongly held beliefs is a profoundly powerful way to reduce their conviction
3.
Beliefs are stubborn, but they are malleable. To change a belief a person must find a way to attain convincing new evidence that they can trust
Growth happens when you start doing the things you;'re not qualified to do
