Abraxane the Game
Three Mini-Games in one
There are some key stages of the drug which are
best described by splitting the game into three mini games.
(NB : I use simple english to describe some aspects for ME)
Game 1 - Dissolve and Travelling to the Tumour
Game 2 - Using your Paclitaxel to dock with the receptors
Game 3 - Finding a SPARC to bind with to enter the inner cell
Game 1 - Dissolve And Merge
Press down to go through every step
of the games talk through.

Begins with...
The Abraxane entering the blood stream
breaks apart and the game focuses on a single
Albumin particle which represents YOU the player
Your Mission : Collect 20 paclitaxel particles but be careful
if you get too close to other Albumin particles they might
steal yours...
As you travel...
The background will a scrolling bloodstream...
Bloodcells will pass by like giant blurry whales in the background...
You will move in surges with the beating of the heart as it pushes you forward through the blood...
You will influence the direction you travel to attract particles as you get closer to them...
The game is complete when...
You have collected the number you need and held them for 10 seconds ....
The holding them part will be made harder because we'll make more Albumin particles appear and it will be harder to stay away from them...
If they get too close you may lose too many particles and the countdown will reset and you will need to capture another particle to make up for your losses.
Moving to the next stage
You will be told congratulations... you made it to the tumour...
Your particle will move off the side of the screen and the game will transition to the second mini game.
You will be given a time it took to reach the second stage...
Game 2 : Docking Game
Press down to go through the game talkthrough...
Mission : Docking
A blood stream version of this game
But instead of fuel... you control rotation of the cell
Every beat of the heart your efforts will be countered making it harder to successfully dock / latch your paclitaxel cell onto
the tumour cell receptors...
Success Criteria...
Getting the docking done correctly...
Too far out will result in a failed attempt..
You keep trying until you get it but your time keeps increasing...
After you succeed...
You will be transported into the cell, through the cell wall...
This begins the third game...
Your total time so far will be shown to you...
Game 3 : Find the SPARC
Press down to see the talk through of this game...
Mission : find the none bound Sparc
You cannot see any of the playing area until you've visited it...
You are looking for a green SPARC particle to bind yourself with
Its a game of hide and seek... There will only be one in the whole playing area...
Reveal as you search
In game terms this is called fog of war...

You will have a mini map to help you see where you've been
The game is a game of deduction and luck...
Where am i going next is where haven't i been yet...
Success
Finding the particle will result in your binding with it and then moving to the bottom of the screen...
This will begin the sequence which will show you being absorbed into the tumour
General thoughts...
I would use video as cutscenes...
-
Before Game 1 - Cutscene about dissolution
-
Game 1 play through
-
Between Game 1 and 2 - Cutscene about merging with the cell receptors
-
Game 2 play through
-
Between Game 2 and 3 - Cutscene about going through the cell wall and the other bit about Paclitaxel getting through the leaky bits
-
Game 3 play through
- Final cutscene showing the tumour dying...
