• You have need to have an account first...
• Privileges: you have to earn reputation in order to unlock some of the things that you can do on SO
• Answering a question is not that difficult
• Asking a question is even easier
• Vote up and down for questions and answers
• Flag, edit and improve posts
• Review and Triage

Improve your accepted rate

• Answer the question as soon as possible
• Edit and polish the answer until you're satisfied of it 
• Provide a runnable code example when possible
• Provide detailed explanation
• Don't use words like: Hi, hello, help this help or something like this, just the "answer"
• Help to improve the "question", editing title, content, code format or even adding/removing tags
